ILP4 (2)Reaching Clarity Independent Living Program (ILP), partner with young adults in state custody who are at least 18 years old and willing to develop life and vocational skills, create an educational plan or alternative, and work part-time. We provide residents with stable and safe, comfortable, fully furnished housing. The young adults typically remain in the program until they have reached age 21. Reaching Clarity ILP Program, better known as our “Trailblazer” program, promotes youth self-sufficiency by providing them with opportunities to build leadership skills and become more involved in their communities.

Admissions Criteria:

  • At least 18 -20 years of age.
  • Planning to voluntarily sign an agreement to remain in foster care upon 18th birthday (when applicable).
  • Willing to develop and work toward an educational plan including a plan for higher education.
  • Willing to work part-time as academic workload permits.
  • Willing to develop and improve life skills.
  • Willing to participate in Life Skills and Vocational Skills Training.
